- The Gardeners' chronicle, ser. 3, v. 52 (1912) B. Splendour (see fig. 172) The flowers are semi-double, with a tuft of small petals at the center and a few extra larger ones. The plant is neat in appearance and very free-flowering. The color is reddish scarlet, and darker than other varieties.
