Description
La Semaine horticole et revue des cultures colonials, v. 3 (1899) New Begonia crepes (Begonia tuberosa crispa) This new breed is another important improvement of Begonia kind that can compete with the race already offered previously as the Begonia cristata, which has quickly gained general popularity. Begonia crepes are distinguished by very round cup-shaped flowers, whose petal edges are wavy and elegantly crepe, which produces a very happy effect. Messrs. Krelage and son offer these charming tuber varieties in different colors, namely: purple, scarlet, minium, white, pink, carne, carmine, light yellow.
