- Description
- The Garden, v. 15, (1879) Last year I saw in the nurseries of Messrs. Laing & Co., Forest Hill, over 150 distinct varieties of these tuberous-rooted Begonias in pots. They were arranged in one house and comprised nearly all the sorts that are worthy of culture. Amongst them were: Charles Baltet, crimson-scarlet, shaded with purple towards the center; Charles Baltet - rich, velvety, vermilion. Single Flowered, Crimson.
