- No. 430-Begonia {B. 'Stash' x unknown) 'Chipalee' Developed by Mrs. Mickey Meyer, address above, in 1973 this rhizomatous begonia first bloomed and distributed in 1974. The pollen parent being an unknown plant with plain green, oak-shaped leaves, this plant is described as having leaves bright green with black, star-shaped, 3½" x 3", margin slightly serrated, eye-lashed, with waxy texture. Small insignificant flowers are pale pink and are arranged in loose open bunches on 7-9" stems blooms spring through summer. Registered Sept. 25, 1974.
