- No. 538 - Begonia (B. 'Black Knight' X B. 'Chumash') 'Dan Stocks' With moderately cut, star-shaped leaves, texture smooth-velvety, smooth petioles and stipules, dark green along the seven veins, this rhizomatous begonia was originated by Goldie Frost, address above, in 1973. It first bloomed in 1975 with light-pink ½ x 1 in. two-petaled flowers on a 12-in. stem. A good, compact grower and heavy bloomer, the plant has beautifully mottled bright and dark green leaves. Registered August 23, 1976.
