Plant
- Description
- 1860 Le Bon Jardinier New Begonias; In the B. Victoria, we also saw only leaves coming from a short, squat, barely visible stem. The lamina, of a dark green above, is enhanced by vast longitudinal spots of irregular contour which fill a large part of the spaces circumscribed by the veins. The rest of the sheet is pleasantly sanded and smeared with the same silvery hue. The underside is a uniform wine red as well as the petioles, which are covered with white hairs.
