- No. 429-Begonia (B. 'Stash' self-pollinated) 'Ingar' This thickly-growing, rhizomatous plant was developed in 1972, first bloomed in 1973, and was first distributed in 1974 by Mrs. Mickey Meyer, address above. The leaves are black-brown, green down the center; shape stubbly starred, 4½" x 5"; margin faintly serrated and short eye lashed; texture slightly bristled on taffeta-like surface; six indented nerves. Blooming from spring to fall, the flowers emerge green, coming to pale pink at maturity; they are in clusters of several bunches, smallish and closely arranged on a 10 to 12-inch stem. Registered Sept. 25, 1974.
