- Begonia Acquisition - This is of salmon pink color and very charming; The Garden, v. 75, (1911) This set of three new winter flowering Begonias were exhibited by Messrs. James Veitch and Sons, Chelsea. having been raised by crossing a yellow-flowered tuberous variety with B. socotrana. All the varieties may be regarded as acquisitions, and are endowed with vigor and remarkable freedom of flowering. For an illustration of Begonia Exquisite see page 560. Begonia Acquisition - This is of salmon pink color and very charming. Begonia Her Majesty - A good orange yellow of large size and great freedom. Begonia Exquisite - A beautiful variety of rose pink color. The flowers are large and produced with great freedom.
