- No. 428-Begonia (B. 'Stash' x unidentified plant) 'Tarlit' The unidentified parent suspected to be one with plain green, oak-leaf shaped leaves, this rhizomatous plant has very flat leaves, as if cut from paper, a rich brown, reddish over all, slightly starred with one long point, 3" x 4", margin lightly serrated, texture light, dainty, with six nerves, slightly recessed. Blooms spring through autumn arranged in clumps of five to six blossoms on 7" hairy stems. Originated in 1973 by Mrs. Mickey Meyer, address above, this plant first bloomed and was first distributed in 1974. Registered Sept. 25, 1974.
